Anita Briem is an Icelandic actress . She is famous for her character of Jane Seymour , the young woman destined to become the third wife of King Henry VIII in the series of television The Tudors and for her character in the role of Hannah in the movie Journey to the Center of the Earth ( 2008 ) . Briem's acting journey began at National Theater Iceland when she was just 9 years old. When she was in her home country Iceland she worked on radio, television and various different programs while a young actress.
